Challenges in living with anxiety
GAD is commonly treated with medications such as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) and serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs). However, these treatments may not fully relieve anxiety symptoms for many individuals.
Current medications often fall short in addressing persistent worry and physical symptoms like restlessness, fatigue, and muscle tension — core features of GAD that continue to impact daily life even with treatment.
